I Am Still Trying Out This Normal Life Stuff

Things are going pretty good for me now-a-days.  Mum and Daddy are taking good care of me, and my two older brothers are helping them out.  I love them all so much!  I think mum may be mad at my brothers for something though, ’cause she is in their bedroom, but she has some other name for it, and she is cleaning it up and saying words I have never heard before!  I don’t think it is meant to be fun for them, but they never go around and pick things up and say those words, so mum is doing it for them.  I think daddy is the only one besides me that is really happy today.  Daddy says it is because we get to spend time together rather than helping mum. 

I get to see another one of those doctor people today, and mum is going to ask him for a new subscription for my yummies.  Daddy felt broke again when he found out how much my yummies costed, ’cause he said that the price for it would be $750.00 per month in American money.  I guess that is a lot.  But if mum gets the subscription from the doctor, then the NHS pays for all of it and daddy says things like "thank goodness!" and "whew!"  Daddy says I am worth every penny either way. 

Daddy says that the picture I have below shows two wet spots that are as far apart as my top is from my bottom, and that’s funny.  I don’t know why, but here is it…!

Living the”Normal”Life

Hi there!  I am living the normal life.  That’s what my parents say.  They say that my belly has improved since they got me started on a new type of yummies.  They say that the new yummies are for babies with food allergies.  I got allergies.  So the new yummies haven’t got any cows in them.  I am not sure what allergies or cows are, but it seems that if I have one, I get the other too.  So mummy and daddy have got me something called NEOCATE.  I eat it all the time now, and my belly feels so much better.  I can eat a whole bottle of it and not puke it up.  And they also got me some new bottles called Auntie-Colic, and she has sent away Uncle Wind.  Eating my nummies has become more fun than I ever thought it could be!

I hope that everyone who reads this has got Auntie-Colic Bottles and NEOCATE for their yummies today too!

By the way, TODAY IS MY BIRD-DAY!  I am Three Weeks Old Today!  I can do all kinds of things now, like hold my own head up, and suck on my fingers.  I am growing up so fast!

I am really proud.  Daddy says he has had a look around on "the Google" and cannot find my name in use on anyone else.  He really thinks I am the very first Kirynie in the whole world!  I could have told him that!  I have met at least 30 or 40 people now, and not one of them has my name!  I am very glad to be the only one..!!  I like being unicorn.

So THAT’S what a holiday is.!

It has been a busy week for me while Jj and Dylan are on holiday.  Mommy says that a holiday is when you get to stay away from home overnight, and Jj and Dylan are on holiday.   Guess what……

I got to go on holiday too.!

My tummy was poorly so Mommy & Daddy took me to the hotelpital where I got to have lots of fun with the nurses (my daddy did too.!)  I got to make lots of friends called ‘Doctors’ and I think I’m going to marry a doctor one day because they have nice hands….:o) Although the thing that they use to listen to my tummy gurgle is very cold…..not sure I like it.

The very nice doctor has told mommy & daddy to change my yummies so that it doesn’t hurt my tummy.  Mommy says she wants to do this, but is having problems in tracking down the right yummies.  The nice Doctor guy also told mum and dad to put something in my yummies called Gaviscon, and since they did I have liked me yummies lots more, and dad says he is afraid I am going to eat his house AND home.

Today I got to have a daddy/daughter day with my daddy, where he spoilt me lots and lots.!!  I got to sleep as much as I wanted and daddy got to play with me as much as he wanted, it was fun.!!   Mommy didn’t go on holiday, but she got to spend the day with people that she works with.  I like those people because they got me the bestest birthday presents I EVER had.!!!

Busy Hot Days

Hello all!  It is little ol’ me again.  The last few days have been busy ones for me.  I have had lots of fun.  I have been sleeping and eating, and having nappy changes and everything.  We even went to the city and mum and dad bought something for my pushchair.  I think it is called a parachute.  Anyhow, it goes above the chair and keeps the hot sun off me.  It is red and pretty, and I like it a lot! 

Speaking of my pushchair, mum and dad pushed me along this long thing they called a river.  There were lots of people there, and lots seemed to like me and want to meet me.  It was really fun, and I liked all of the many sights I saw, including these things that fly in the air called birds.  Dad says he loves the "birds" too. 

Well, by the time we came home I had a new place to exercise that lays on the floor and has a place for me to lay and look at things and reach for them.  It is lots of fun. 

On a day they called Sunny Day, and it was, I got to join a club called the Girl’s Club, with mum and Auntie Pat and Auntie Bridget at a place called Charlie’s.  Charlie’s has food, and I think that is why my dad was there too.  Dad says the building is really old because it was built in a time he called 1421.  I don’t know how long ago that was, but dad says it is a lot older than he is, so it MUST be old!  Anyway, Pat and Bridget are both very lovely, and I liked very much having breakfast with them.  They kept mum and dad talking for a long time so I could have a long nap! 

I have been waking up and finding that sometimes it is bright out the windows, and other times it is dark.  It is so much cooler when it is dark.  I like that part the best, and I think mum and dad do too.  They wake up with me and we all sit and talk about how beautiful I am.  It is lots of fun!

Ticky Goes To Town!

Sorry I did not blog yesterday!  I went into town with mum and dad and my two elder brothers, Jordan and Dylan!  We had a very good time there.  Everyone took turns picking things out and then they did something called "buying" it all, and guess what?  It was all for ME!  I got lots of new outfits and things to wear on my head called hats.  It was a really good time, but I got tired and slept through it all.  I am afraid that there is something wrong with my dad after that though cause he said he was broke.  I will get some glue and fix him later.

Last night I slept most of the way through.  It was what my mum called her birthday present.  Today is her birthday.  Daddy put my name on a card from him for me.  I hope that it tells her how much I lover her!  She has a beautiful smile and a sweet voice, and she makes me smile.

Mommy and I had a Girlie night up…..

It is 4.15am and I’m sat in my chair waiting for my last drink to settle before crawling up to bed.We had a good night up, we did lots of talking (well, I did) over some bottles (although I didn’t feel to good after my bottle at 1am and it came back to revisit me)  and tummy massages and back rubs (not so sure I like the back-patting, it makes me burp…oops.!)We even shed some tears – real heart to heart kind of things.Well, this ikkle Boo is off for some beauty sleep.  Good night all.!Fun & BubblesKyrinie(Katrina)

Sawing Logs – So that’s what it means.!

Mommy had told me (in a girl to girl chat) that I needed to get used to Daddy sawing logs (seemed a very strange thing to say).   I found out last night what she meant.!!   I was trying to play at 1am this morning and Daddy was ‘sawing logs’. Wow.!!  It was fun listening to him – for a while, but gee tis noisy.I tried really really hard to sleep yesterday, but Mommy and Daddy kept waking me up.  I heard them say something about wanting to get my clockbody turned the right way around, wonder what that meant?I’m off to sleep now, I have a nice full tummy….:o)Fun & BubblesKirynie(Katrina)

What a busy night I had last night!

Dad says that he kept waking up because I was calling him, but mum doesn’t say much about it because she is asleep on the settee this afternoon!  She was up with me last night, and we had a good ol’ time!  I have been napping this morning, while daddy was cleaning and sterilising my bottles for later.  He also has been working on getting my photo album up on the web for that link to the right to work properly so bunches of people can go and see what I look like!  Daddy says the ftp is going slow, but the site will be up soon!  Do any of you know what any of this means?  Today I am only four days old, you know. 

Anyway, I feel really lucky ’cause I have already realised that I have a mum and a dad that love me so much!  I even like to smile at them to show them how much I love them, but they just laugh and tell me it is gas.  How funny they are!  Well, see you soon!

My First Blog!

Hi there world!  I am Ticky-Boo..!!!  Well, that’s not my real name.  I am really Kirynie Eliza Dawn Bacon, and I am only three days old today!  This is my first blog, so please be patient with me as I work my way through this.  Fortunately, I have my mum and dad to help me along the way!  I hope that you will all come back and check in often to see what I am up to, and feel free to post comments to let me know how you are doing!  Oh, by the way, some have had troubles pronouncing my name, but my dad says that it sounds the same as Americans pronounce the word “Tyranny.”  I hope that helps!Yours,Kirynie
