Busy Hot Days
Hello all! It is little ol’ me again. The last few days have been busy ones for me. I have had lots of fun. I have been sleeping and eating, and having nappy changes and everything. We even went to the city and mum and dad bought something for my pushchair. I think it is called a parachute. Anyhow, it goes above the chair and keeps the hot sun off me. It is red and pretty, and I like it a lot!
Speaking of my pushchair, mum and dad pushed me along this long thing they called a river. There were lots of people there, and lots seemed to like me and want to meet me. It was really fun, and I liked all of the many sights I saw, including these things that fly in the air called birds. Dad says he loves the "birds" too.
Well, by the time we came home I had a new place to exercise that lays on the floor and has a place for me to lay and look at things and reach for them. It is lots of fun.
On a day they called Sunny Day, and it was, I got to join a club called the Girl’s Club, with mum and Auntie Pat and Auntie Bridget at a place called Charlie’s. Charlie’s has food, and I think that is why my dad was there too. Dad says the building is really old because it was built in a time he called 1421. I don’t know how long ago that was, but dad says it is a lot older than he is, so it MUST be old! Anyway, Pat and Bridget are both very lovely, and I liked very much having breakfast with them. They kept mum and dad talking for a long time so I could have a long nap!
I have been waking up and finding that sometimes it is bright out the windows, and other times it is dark. It is so much cooler when it is dark. I like that part the best, and I think mum and dad do too. They wake up with me and we all sit and talk about how beautiful I am. It is lots of fun!
