So THAT’S Christmas!!!

The thing called Christmas has come!  What a wonderful day it is so far too!  There are loads of things called "parcels" under that tree in the living room.  I love them!  There are so many in all different colours!  I have really enjoyed it so much!  I have been able to tear loads of paper, and get things out of it, then play with the paper!  Mum and Dan just laugh, and thing that watching me play with the paper is loads of fun!  Still loads more to do.  I will have to report it all later!

I hope everyone else is really enjoying their paper as much as I am mine!

Happy Christmas!

Kiry and Daddy!

It’s ALMOST Christmas ! ! !

It is almost Christmas, and my brothers are very excited about it!  As for me, I don’t even know what it is.  Does it have something to do with that tree growing in the living room?  Or is it to do with the packages all wrapped up in pretty paper?  My brothers think it is to do with the packages and what’s in them.  Mum and Dad seem to think it is about something else, but I am not sure at all what.  I wonder how long Christmas time will be around for?  I will see what I can figure out about it.

I am very busy these days.  I have learned lots of new things.  If someone helps me to the right position, I like to sit up all on my own, and I like to look around and play with things while I do.  If Mum or Dad hold my hands, I love to stand up on my feet and play like I can do it all on my own.  Sometimes I wish Mum and Dad would let go and let me do it alone, but I think that if I did, it would leave me feeling a little flat.  I still love to watch movies with my family, and I love to play with my dummy all on my own now.  But I really love to sing now!  It is especially fun when everyone is watching a movie!  I will sing and sing till everyone is looking at me with that special look they like to give me!  It is loads of fun!

Well, I am off to sleep for my nap, something else I like to do every day.  By, and have a great Christmas Time!

Love,

Kiry and Daddy!

My New Stuff

Today I was able to do some new things.  Mum sat me up and I was able to stay up on my own!  And I can stand if helped to my feet and my hands are held which I love to do and would do all the time if I could on my own, and there is something new in my mouth. It is called a Toof! It popped out in the front at the bottom!  I want daddy to take a picture as soon as he can for me!  I like it so far!  Dad said something about being a-scared that I was going to chew all the furniture to bits though!

Sounds like FUN!!!

Till next time!

Figured it Out!

I figured it out in the end…  They have deliberately put that tree in the living room!  I still am not sure why though…  I would have wrote more about it yesterday, however, I went to the doctor’s office of something called immunization, and they stuck me with THREE jabs in the legs.  Mum and Dad says I was really brave though because I only cried for about a minute or less.  They were really impressed, but I can sure tell you, I was not!  Anyway, I was down with a fever yesterday, cause by those wicked jabs, so I could not come and write.  But I looked the tree over and the things on it, and I think it is supposed to signify something.  I think it is a decoration for one of them Holiday times like they had at Thanksgiving or Halloween!  So maybe this means something special is coming in a couple of days.  I’ll let you know when it gets here.

Till then,

Kiry and Daddy!

Taking It TOO Far!

Okay, I know that my brothers keep a messy room, but they got loose in the house and now have taken it too far! The living room is such a mess that there is actually a tree growing in it!  (See picture below!)

DSCI1109

They call this mess Christmas!  I am not sure what it is all about!  They are still at it!  I will have to get back to you with more later when I can find out what all this stuff is about.

Yours,

Kirynie and Daddy

Never too Early to Blog

It is six o’clock on a Monday morning, and daddy says that it is never too early in the day or in the week to make a blog post!

This week something is supposed to happen.  It is a thing called Thanksgiving.  Daddy says that since I am half American, I have to celebrate it.  But mum and my brothers do too because they like to eat.  That’s about all I know about this holiday.  You all sit down and eat.  I don’t really get it because mum and dad and brothers and I sit down to eat every day!  So why have a whole day dedicated to it?  None of them need any extra food.

I have been adapting to mum not being at work lately.  Daddy stays at home and looks after Big-Big Brother and me, and Big Brother goes to school, whatever that is.  I think it is a club or something where they do the same sorts of things Big-Big Brother does at home.

I used to get really mad when mum first started back at work.  She would go away for so long and not be around for me to play with, so when she came home, I liked to ignore her for hours at a time.  Oh sure, she could cuddle and feed me, but I would not look at her because that would mean that in the morning when she left again, I would remember what she looked like and I would miss her.  After a week or two of this I realized that it was okay to be with daddy only during the days, and that if I didn’t look at mum, then I would be missing seeing her for even longer than the daytimes.  So I looked at her.  I love my mum!

Daddy can’t get his digital camera fixed, so there are still no fresh pictures for my blog.  Sorry!  Daddy says that he will gladly arrange to take contributions through Pay-Pal to the "Help Kelsey Fix His Digital Camera Fund."

Daddy says that we have a busy day ahead because we have got to go into town this morning, so I gotta go help him get ready.

Reminder to all who have i-Tunes, If you go into the i-Tunes Store and search for a podcast using "Kelsey Bacon" as your search term, it will bring up the "Bacon Bits" podcast.  Episode 7 has a bit of me talking in it, especially at the end where daddy put in the sounds I like to make when I am eating my lunch!  The Bacon Bits podcast is another way to keep up with our gang!

Bye for now!

Annual-versary

Today is my mum and dad’s annual-versary. I am not sure what that means, but I think it has something to do with being tied up together for a very long time.  Well, I think my mum and dad must have been tied up together a very long time, ’cause they are good at it.

I have been off the blogging scene for a while now, and I have a lot to catch you up on.  Mum and dad’s camera is still in the shop for repairs, so I cannot include photos at the moment, but daddy says he is working really hard on it.

I am doing lots of new things now.  I have a chair of my own in the kitchen called a high-chair.  It allows me to join the rest of the family when they eat.  I have to sit on a small pillow and be strapped into it, which I don’t like, but once I am in there and busy eating, or watching everyone else, I soon forget all about the straps.  It is fun watching everyone!  I want to be just like my big brothers when I get older.  They eat however they would like, and don’t follow rules like mum and dad do.  Only thing is, I think I would like it better if mum and dad didn’t yell at them all the time for having fun while they eat!

I eat now too.  I have some special foods that are all my own!  I tried my first baby food just the other day, called chicken.  It was really good, and I just couldn’t get enough of it!  I have been eating porridge since almost the last time I blogged here, and I have really enjoyed it a lot more than my bottle, but chicken was amazing!  Of course, eating these kinds of food as I am, mum and dad say I have graduated early.  Heck, I didn’t even know I was in school!  I did because of my tummy playing me up on just liquids, and because I was just not filling up on them.  But now I am fine, I sleep better through the nights, and my tummy troubles are being managed by the foods I do eat.  Mum and dad seem to have it all sussed out!

I am nearly able to sit up on my own now, if I have help getting there that is.  Also, I am thinking about rolling over soon.  It looks like fun!

There is lots more to tell you still, but I need to go for now.  I hope that everyone is doing well!  Daddy says he is so excited to get his digital camera back from the shop, and he wants to take a picture of me with it first thing.  I will put it up here as soon as he does!

Loves and Hugs to all!

Up and at em.!!!

You know, I’m now 3 mths old and I want out into this crazy world (that’s what Mommy calls it).I’m getting bored of just lying there all the time, have you looked at the ceiling lately, there are only so many cobwebs a girl can count, and the spiders are yukky.!Mommy and Daddy got me a mobile for my bed, it’s funny,  I like looking at it…:o)I think that they are finally getting the message that I don’t wanna be lying down all the time, everytime  they cuddle me on their laps I have now taught them to let me sit up by myself, although things sometimes get a little wobbly, I like sitting up by myself, it means that I can keep an eye on what my big bothers are doing, they always seem to be having fun.Mommy and Daddy also got me something that looks like a swing, but I’m not allowed to swing in it (I don’t even know what ‘swing’ is, so how can I tell if I’m doing it?  strange.)  It lets me bounce up and down, and I love that I can just about touch the floor with my feet (I found them last week, wondered where they had gone to.?)  They only let me play in there for a short while, and even though I’ve cried when they take me out, they just aren’t listening to me….humph.!And, I love this ‘talking’ stuff, most of the time.   Daddy makes lots of funny noises and not all of them from his mouth, so I can’t copy the other ones…??!    I have lots of chats with Mommy, she understands a girls needs.  I do get very fur uh fru  uh frustrated though when I can’t do it properly, why won’t my tongue make noise by itself, why does it need my throat to make noise too?   Weird.!I think that I’ve finally figured out what ‘sleeping through the night’ is…..it’s going to sleep when I have a full tummy and then waking up when it is empty, but it has to be dark outside.  Mommy doesn’t seem to agree as she keeps mumbling something about 4am being a little bit twirly to start the day when she goes back to work.Well, I have to go now and play with my feet some more….Yay…:o)Have a nice day y’all…..Fun & BubblesKirynie & Mommy.xx

12 Weeks Old

It is official, I have been here for 12 weeks now.  And what busy weeks they have been!  Especially lately!  I have really been enjoying the rice and cereals that mum has been giving to me, twice a day or more!  Mum and dad were really concerned about me having it at first, but now that they have seen how well I eat it, and how much better I am sleeping for it, they are okay!  In fact, I am sleeping as many as 12 hours a night now!  The food really satisfies me, and makes it easier for me to sleep through without waking up hungry.

I have also found that there are a lot of funny things in this world, like Daddy!  He likes to poke his tongue in and out really fast while making a noise at me.  I can’t do the noise yet, but I have been able to mimic the action for about a week now.  It is fun, and it makes me laugh out loud when we do that!

Mum and dad have finally got some sleep!  That is good because they seem a lot less stressed lately!  Since I have been sleeping through most of the nights, Mum and Dad have improved their sleeping a lot, but in the past few days they have really been getting the sleep they need!  I have been really concerned about them, so it is fantastic to see them growing up so much!  I am excited for them, and they seem excited about it all too!  Daddy got up this morning at 5:30 to feed me my early breakfast, and then we hung out down stairs till mum got up at almost 9:00.  It was the first time Mum has slept so late since as far back as I can remember.

Daddy seems a bit agitated about something.  Ever since his digital camera broke, he has not been able to take nearly as many pictures as he has in the past.  He even got out his big camera with a fancy name, but he says that it uses something called film, and that we have to wait to see the pictures.  He says that if he can get lots of people to contribute to his "Help Kelsey Convert His Hasselblad To A Digital Camera Fund," then he can use it without having to wait to see the pictures!  But he says it costs way too much to do at this time!

Daddy says he wants to try to do more sound recording, which is really good because there is a lot I have to say.  Maybe he can tie some of that into this blog in the future!

Well, I am off to see my Nanny San’s sister now.  I hope everyone out there is doing good like Mum and Dad, and not bad like Dad’s digital camera!

Loves and Hugs!
